Privacy Policy

Your photos are your work. They stay that way.

This policy explains the separate data practices of the HDR Merge Pro app and the HDRMergePro.com website.

Right Home Media, Inc. (“Right Home Media,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) publishes HDR Merge Pro and operates HDRMergePro.com. We designed the app to perform its core work on your device without an account, analytics, tracking, or a developer-operated cloud service.

1. HDR Merge Pro app data practices

Photos and files

HDR Merge Pro accesses camera RAW images only when you select them through a system file picker or drag them into the app. The selected files are read locally so the app can validate and merge the bracket. The app does not upload your source images or completed DNG files to Right Home Media or to a cloud service operated on our behalf.

You decide where a completed DNG goes. Choosing a system sharing, saving, Photos, or compatible-app destination may provide the file to Apple or another application under that provider’s own terms and privacy practices.

Accounts, analytics, and tracking

The app does not require an account or sign-in. It does not use third-party advertising networks, third-party analytics, behavioral profiling, or cross-app or cross-site tracking. We do not collect personal information, photo content, filenames, device identifiers, precise location, contacts, or usage history through the app.

On-device settings and temporary files

The app stores limited preferences on your device, such as whether the introductory tutorial has been completed. During normal operation it may create temporary, preview, output, or staged sharing files on your device. These files support the merge and destinations you choose; they are not transmitted to us.

2. HDRMergePro.com website data practices

The website is separate from the app. Information submitted through this website is not collected from the HDR Merge Pro app and does not change the app’s no-data-collection design.

Support request form

If you submit the support form, we collect the request type, subject, message, and your consent record. You may optionally provide your name, email address, device platform, app version, camera model, and RAW format. An email address is needed only if you want a reply.

Support submissions are stored in this website’s WordPress database. Authorized Right Home Media personnel use the information to review and respond to support questions, feature suggestions, compatibility reports, and camera or RAW-format requests. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to marketing.

Hosting, security logs, and anti-spam processing

Our hosting provider, SiteGround, and installed WordPress security tools may process standard technical information such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, date and time, and security events to deliver, protect, and troubleshoot the website. The support form uses a honeypot, a simple human-verification question, signed timing checks, duplicate detection, link filtering, and a temporary non-reversible connection fingerprint to limit automated abuse. The raw address is not stored with the support request by our form plugin.

Cookies

We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies. WordPress, SiteGround, and security or caching features may use cookies or similar storage when technically necessary for site administration, security, form protection, or user-requested functionality.

3. How we use and share website information

We use website information to operate and secure the site, manage requests, respond when contact information is provided, understand requested cameras or features, enforce our terms, and comply with law. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Information may be processed by service providers that host, secure, or maintain the website, including SiteGround, only for those operational purposes. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or complete a corporate transaction subject to appropriate protections.

4. Retention and deletion

Support submissions are scheduled for deletion after 24 months. We may delete them sooner when no longer needed or retain limited information longer if reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or to preserve a product decision without retaining unnecessary contact details. Hosting and security logs are retained according to the applicable provider or security configuration.

The app does not maintain an account or server-side user record for us to delete. You can remove app preferences and locally stored app data by deleting the app, subject to Apple platform behavior and any files you independently saved elsewhere.

5. Your choices and rights

You may use the support form without providing a name or email address, although we cannot respond without contact information. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete a support submission by contacting us and providing enough detail to identify it. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional privacy rights.

You control access to Files, Photos, and other destinations through the controls provided by Apple and the receiving applications.

6. Security and international use

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect website information, but no internet service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please do not submit passwords, confidential property information, private download links, or sensitive personal information through the support form.

Right Home Media is based in Alabama, United States. If you use the website from another country, information submitted to the website may be processed in the United States or other locations used by our service providers, subject to applicable law.

7. Children

HDR Merge Pro and this website are intended for a general photography audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website. Contact us if you believe a child provided personal information so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app, website, support process, service providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. Material changes to app data practices will also be reflected in the app and App Store disclosures where required.
